Kunduz (BNA) The Ministry of Defense (MoD) says the Khanabad district of the province was recaptured by Taliban after heavy fighting yesterday.
BNA quoted the Ministry of Defense as saying that the ground and air defense forces launched an operation to retake Khanabad district of Kunduz province, which ousted the Taliban from the district center after heavy fighting and casualties.
The source added that operations are underway to repel the Taliban from the outskirts of the district center.
