Kabul (BNA) The building of Khost district, Baghlan which was recently taken over by the Taliban, came under the control of security and defense forces in a clearing operation last night.
Colonel Sayed Ashraf Sadat, Baghlan police chief, told BNA that the country’s security and defense forces, with the cooperation and support of popular uprisings, were able to came under the control of Khost district from the Taliban.
Sadat added that the Taliban also suffered casualties in the operation.
Meanwhile, in the past two days, security officials ousted the Khenjan and Doshi districts of Baghlan from control of Taliban.
