Korea Seeks Enhanced Economic, Cultural Ties With Afghanistan

Kabul (BNA) First Vice President Amrullah Saleh met with Korean Ambassador, Choi Tae-ho, in his office the other day.

Both sides discussed ongoing situation and the peace process, according to a statement received from the VP press office yesterday.

Korean Ambassador said that his country was interested to invest in Afghanistan, adding that would encourage Korean companies to explore the opportunities and invest on different sectors in the country. He also said that his country was willing to expand its economic and cultural ties with Afghanistan.

Thanking Korean supports for Afghanistan in the last two decades, VP Saleh appreciated the country’s economic commitments made during the 2020 Geneva conference.
