Kunar (BNA) Kunar Central Hospital in Asadabad was the target of a Taliban rocket attack.
At least two missiles hit on the hospital, setting fire to part of the hospital.
According to reports, parts of the city of Asadabad, the center of Kunar, were the target of a missile attack yesterday the rockets hit a citizen’s home and Kunar Central Hospital.
Mohammad Iqbal Sayeed, governor of Kunar who contacted BNA blamed armed Taliban for the missile attack.
He said the missile strike did not cause any casualties.
In this missile attack, the thermal energy center of the hospital with part of its main facilities caught fire and was destroyed.
The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
