Large Consignment of Pakistani-Made Explosives Discovered in Nangarhar

Jalalabad (BNA) Security forces discovered a consignment of explosives that has just entered Nangarhar from Pakistan.

Two people were arrested in connection with the transfer of this consignment.

The shipment was reportedly loaded with explosives from Pakistan and was to be delivered to terrorist groups in Nangarhar and other parts of the country.

Nangarhar Governor Zia-Ul-Haq Amarkhail told BNA that two tons of explosives were recovered from the shipment.

Security officials say the explosives were made in Pakistan and have a high destructive power.

The Taliban obtain most of their explosives from Pakistan, use it to make bombs, mines and suicide vests, and use in their attacks in Afghanistan.
