Kabul (BNA) Over nine Taliban fighters were killed during clashes with Afghan national defense and security forces in eastern Laghman province last night.
The conflicts took place in relevant areas of Alingar and Alisheng districts of the province.
A security source in Laghman told BNA correspondent, nine members of Taliban group were killed following the clashes.
Taliban said nothing about the incident so far.
Meanwhile, Afghan security troops succeeded to discover and defuse 16 rounds of different type of mines in crowded areas of Laghman province.
By confiscating the mines several bloody incidents have been prevented.
