Heart (BNA) A man was arrested at Herat airport for trying to drop explosives into a passenger plane.
Interior Ministry spokesman Tariq Arian said the man was arrested yesterday among the passengers during an inspection of security officials at Khawaja Abdullah Ansar Airport found that he had placed explosives in a musical instrument called Rabab and wanted to put it inside. the passenger plane will take off and explode after the flight.
Arian noted that national security officials and the ANP defused the explosives and arrested the perpetrator in a short time and without causing concern among the passengers.
