Kandahar (BNA) Five civilians were martyred in a landmine explosion in Arghistan-Kandahar road yesterday.
According to BNA, Jamal Nasir Barakzai, spokesman for Kandahar police chief, told the media that the mine has been planted by the Taliban in Arghistan district of the province, killing five civilians.
Barakzai added that the victims were commuters of a car.
According to another report, eight Taliban insurgents were killed on their two roadside bombs exploded in Arghistan district Kandahar.
The Taliban have not yet commented to the media.
