Mine Blast Took the Lives of Six Civilians

Kandahar (BNA)  Six civilians were lost their lives and at least six others were injured in a landmine explosion in Kandahar.

The blast occurred in Arghandab district, when a convoy carrying villagers was targeted by a landmine.

Kandahar police spokesman Jamal Naser Barakzai told BNA that six civilians were lost their lives and six others were injured in the blast.

He blamed Taliban for bombings.

Doctors at a hospital in Kandahar say the health condition of at least three injured of the blast critical.

Arghandab district was recently cleared from Taliban militants in a military operation.

Military officials say that despite their efforts, Taliban-planted mines are still continue in parts of Arghandab.
