Kabul (BNA) The police chief of Qaramqul district of Faryab was martyred in a mine blast last night.
Faryab police spokesman Karim Yurash told BNA that Mohammad Safar, known Raes Safar police chief in Qaramqul district of Faryab, was hit a mine planted by Taliban while trying to check security checkpoints.
In the event, his four bodyguards were also martyred.
