Gardiz (BNA) Police prevented an explosion in Paktia last night.
Paktia police chief spokesman Hayatullah Ahmadzai told BNA that Paktia police has discovered and defused a mine embedded in a barrel in the central Kurmaeshi area of the province.
He said no one has been arrested in connection of the mine.
