Pul-e-Khomri (BNA) A policeman was martyred in a mine blast in the city of Pul-e-Khumri and two others, including the deputy intelligence chief of Baghlan police, were wounded.
Ahmad Jaweed Besharat, a spokesman for the Baghlan police chief, told BNA that one ANP was martyred and two others, including Fazl Rabi, the deputy intelligence chief, were wounded in a mine explosion near the Pul-e-Khumri mine bridge this morning.
He added that as a result of the explosion, a Ranger vehicle was destroyed and residential houses were damaged.
Abdullah Malang, spokesman for the Baghlan Public Health Department, described the health condition of the injured as satisfactory.
