Minister Delawar meets Malaysian Foreign Minister’s Special Adviser

KABUL (BNA) Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar, Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, met today with Mohammad Azam Abdul Rahman, Special Adviser to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia and his accompanying delegation.

At the start of the meeting, the Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum welcomed the presence of the Special Adviser of the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and their accompanying delegation to Kabul.

The Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum provided information on Afghanistan’s mines and called for the country’s investment in mining sector of Afghanistan.

Afterward, Special Adviser to the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs thanked the Afghans people for their hospitality. Praised the two countries’ historic and good relations, and promised investment in Afghanistan’s gold mines.

Both sides committe to lasting peace in Afghanistan, and we are in favor of a free Afghanistan, which is in the interest of the world.
