Kabul (BNA) Mawlawi Abdul Baqi Haqqani, Minister of Higher Education, in a meeting with the officials of central universities of the country talked about preparations for the start of universities.
In this meeting, discussion and emphasis holding on improving the process of hiring professors, staff exams and registration of volunteers, ways to prevent a diverse education scheme, formulating regular security personnel to protect universities, and preparing the equipment and supplies needed by universities.
The participants of the meeting also presented their views and suggestions on the mentioned issues.
At the end of the meeting, it was decided that a joint committee should be set up by the central universities, and the members of this committee should work on finding appropriate solutions in the mentioned issues and to present their work report at the next meeting.
