KABUL(BNA) A coordination meeting chaired by Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour, acting Minister of Water and Energy held, in order to develop and better manage the energy sector in the country.
In the meeting, the status of energy production, development and transmission projects has reviewed and a joint cooperation plan drafted in order to implement the projects and improve the management of the country’s energy sector.
Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour, acting Minister of Water and Energy, emphasized on further coordination. In addition providing the necessary solutions to improve the management of the energy sector, he called on the officials of the department of Energy and the company to establish a joint committee to work together on the coordination and implementation of affairs.
Meanwhile, Mawlawi Arefullah Aref, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Ministry, called for more cooperation and coordination of officials in order to develop and improve the management of the energy sector.
Mullah Mohammad Issa Akhand, General Manager of Da Afghan Breshna Sherket, also welcomed the joint cooperation plan to improve the country’s energy sector and stressed for further step.
Its mentionable that the Energy Services Regulatory Authority and Da Afghan Breshna Sherket manage to operate as an independent departments, but now operate under the chairemenship of the Ministry of Water and Energy.
