Mazar-e-Sharif (BNA) More than 80 Taliban insurgents were killed in Dehdadi and Nahrshahi districts of Balkh.
Spokesman for 209 Shaheen Corps told BNA that the Taliban were killed in clashes with defense and security forces, especially commandos, and airstrikes in the Dehdadi and Nahrshahi districts of Balkh, leaving their bodies on the battlefield.
The source added that a Taliban base with a large amount of their equipment and explosives was also destroyed in the clash.
Meanwhile, an armed Taliban attack in the outskirts of Mazar-e-Sharif failed last night.
