Taliqan City (BNA) Five members of a family were martyred and two others were wounded due to a mortar shell hit their house in northern Takhar province.
Sunatullah Temory spokesman of Takhar governor said BNA, the incident took place in Dorqad district of the province, while the family members were slept.
Taliban militants fired the mortar bullet from unknown area, which hit in a residential house in relevant areas of Dorqad district, as a result five member of a family including mother, father, two sisters and a brother were martyred and two others including a sister and brother were injured.
Head of public health in Takhar said BNA, the injured of the incident has been taken to civil hospital of Takhar and the health conditions of them are not satisfactory.
