Mazar-e-Sharif (BNA) A commander of the National Movement Party was martyred in Balkh last night.
Sources in Balkh say that a commander of the National Movement Party was martyred in a Taliban ambush in that province last night.
Enayatullah Babar Farahmand, deputy head of the Supreme National Reconciliation Council, said that Ali Sarwar, a well-known commander of the National Movement Party, was martyred along with several of his comrades in Taliban ambush near the Pul-e-Imam Bakri in Mazar-e-Sharif, central Balkh.
Security officials have not yet commented to the media.
