Herat (BNA) As clashes intensify near Herat city, security officials say fresh troops arrived this morning to confront the armed Taliban.
According to BNA, Herat security officials say the troops entered Herat to fight the Taliban.
Meanwhile, the armed Taliban carried out their attack around the city of yesterday, which was faced with a sharp clash between the security forces, the defense forces and popular uprisings.
Jelani Farhad, spokesman for the governor of Herat, said that the security forces was clearing the area around the Pul-e-Malan near the city of Herat from the Taliban.
