Kabul (BNA) The meeting of the National Procurement Commission chaired by the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani was held at the presidential palace, on Thursday.
In this session 51 procurement cases worth more than 4.5 billion Afs were reviewed which included framework contract for procuring LPG gas for Makrorayan Residential Area O&M Enterprise of Kabul Municipality.
The NPC also discussed and issued relevant decisions on 21 contract award cases related to different procuring entities; whereas, it returned the termination request of contract of Sheberghan commercial market for further assessment.
Similarly, the NPC issued instructions on 11 cases of requests and memos from various procuring entities. Besides the above, 9 cases of amendments and extensions were reviewed and decisions were made on them and the NPC also reviewed realization reports of its 5 previous decisions.
In this session, besides NPC members, NPA officials and national and international observers had also participated.
