KABUL (BNA) The Organization of Islamic Cooperation resumed its representative office in Kabul.
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) broadcasted today in a press release that its office in Kabul has reopened on Wednesday last week by Dr. Mohammad Saeed Al-Ayash.
The Kabul representative office has reopened to contribute with other humanitarian organization the situation in Afghanistan and follow up on the outcome of a meeting of foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held in Islamabad, Pakistan, in December last year, the statement said.
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has said that its representative office in Kabul will work to coordinate with other organization’s humanitarian assistance with its international partners, as well to strengthened with human and material resources in conformity with the resolution adopted by the extraordinary ministerial conference on Afghanistan.
It’s must be said that the meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation has held on December 19, 2021 in Islamabad, Pakistan to review the situation in Afghanistan and appeal humanitarian aid to this country. In addition to the foreign ministers of the Islamic countries, the meeting also attended by representatives of the United States, Britain, France, China, Russia, Germany, Italy, Japan, the European Union, and international aid agencies. The United Nations has requested $4.5 billion from donor countries to address the situation in Afghanistan and provide humanitarian assistance.
