Kabul (BNA) Mawlavi Mohammad Amin the oldest man of Afghanistan passed away at the age of 144 in northern Samangan province.
Mawlavi Mohammad Amin known as eldest Mawlavi, was born in a religious family in Khaja Zahid village, Royi Du Aab district of Samangan.
Governor, head of information and culture and other officials of Samangan paid their tribute to the bereaved family and students of the deceased and called his death a big loss for scholars in the province and thoroughly of the country.
