Mazar-e-Sharif (BNA) The process of distributing cash aid to the displaced in Balkh began with the presence of the Minister of Refugees and Repatriations in Mazar-e-Sharif.
According to BNA, Minister of Refugees and Repatriations Noor Rahman Akhlaqi, who visited Balkh, said that 15,000 Afghanis in cash would be distributed to each of the 1,000 families displaced by the war and natural disasters in Balkh.
Balkh Deputy Governor Ghulam Farooq Khaplwak said Balkh had the highest number of displaced from different provinces in the northern part of the country.
Sayed Massoud Qaderi, director of Balkh Refugees and Returnees, says that 25,000 families displaced by the war and natural disasters have settled in the province.
