One Thousand Five Hundred Families Received Assistance in Kunduz

Kunduz (BNA) The Kunduz Refugees and Repatriations Department assisted 1,500 war affected families yesterday.
According to local correspondent of BNA, the families have fled their homes in the Imam Sahib district of Kunduz as a result of the recent fighting, while the Taliban use their homes as trenches.
Meanwhile, Kunduz police spokesman Enamuddin Rahmani said security and defense forces had launched an operation in Imam Sahib and Khan Abad districts in the past 24 hours, killing more than 45 Taliban insurgents.
Fifty other Taliban have been wounded.
Rahmani added that two policemen were martyred and three others were wounded in the clashes.
It is said that the security forces are currently conducting ground and air operations to clear the districts.
