Herat City (BNA) More than 40 primary and secondary schools are closed due to insecurity in six districts of western Herat province.
In-charge of education department in the province told BNA correspondent, the school are closed in various parts of Shindand, Gozara, Gulran, Kahastan, Zandajan and Awba districts of the province.
Among the schools only 30 schools are closed in Shindand district due to lack teachers, compulsory migration of families and insecurity, the source added.
A large number of students (girls and boys) were deprived from education in the mentioned districts, the source concluded.
