Over 86 Insurgents Killed, 50 Wounded in ANSF Military Operations

Kabul (BNA) Up to 86 armed oppositions including 5 Pakistani rebels were killed and 50 others were wounded during mopping-up operations led by Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) across the country.
Ministry of National Defense press office stated BNA, the operations were conducted to suppress Taliban militants and protect the lives and properties of people in various parts of Nangarhar, Kunar, Kapisa, Ghazni, Paktia, Paktika, Badakhshan, Kandahar, Zabul, Urozgan, Farah, Herat, Baghlan, Jawzjan, Kunduz and Helmand provinces.
Some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions, war equipment, military mobilization and two motorcycles of the insurgents have been discovered and seized during the operations by ANSF, the source added.
Meanwhile, eight Afghan National Army soldiers were martyred at the end of the operations as well.
