Kabul (BNA) An explosion in Khoshhal Khan area, fifth district of Kabul today martyred eight people and injured 15 others.
Security sources said the incident was caused by a roadside mine exploded the vehicle of Wolesi Jirga member, Mohammad Khan Wardak while he was passing through the area, he was wounded in the incident.
Eight people were martyred and 15 others were injured in the incident, in addition to the car of this Member of Parliament, three other cars caught fire and shops and houses around the area were damaged.
The victims were all civilians and passers-by, including women and children.
This is the second explosion in less than forty-eight hours in Kabul. Two people were injured in an explosion in Pol-e-Sorkh area on Friday evening.
