Kabul (BNA) President Ashraf Ghani met with Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation at the Presidential Palace, on Wednesday.
Both sides stressed on the importance of the High Peace Council establishment as a significant step forward in the peace process and discussed the issues related to the HCNR and future work.
They also exchanged views on the conclusion of the first phase of the peace negotiations in Doha, the future steps in next phase, and strengthening national and international consensus for the peace process.
