President Ghani Meets Commander of U.S. Central Command

Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani met with General Kenneth F. McKenzie, the Commander of the United States Central Command at the Presidential Palace, on Monday.

In this meeting First-Vice President Amrullah Saleh, Chief of Army Staff Mohammad Yasin Zia, AOP Director General Fazel Fazly, chargé d’affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Kabul and General Commander of the Resolute Support Mission Gen. Scott Miller also were present, both sides discussed Afghan peace process and supporting and strengthening Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF).

General Mckenzie assured the President that the United States will continue to support Afghan National Defense and Security Forces.
