Kabul (BNA) President Ashraf Ghani and the First Lady received Mountaineering Girls’ team of Afghanistan late on Tuesday, Presidential Palace said in a statement.
In the meeting, first Aqila Hashemi spoke on behalf of others and shared demands and suggestions of the mountaineering girls’ team for more government support, equipment and specialized training with the president.
President Ghani congratulated activities and efforts of the team, saying you are the conqueror of the high peaks of success.
President Ghani added, department of Physical Education and Sports and National Olympic Committee jointly present their plan for funding and further support for Afghanistan girls’ mountaineers.
Afghanistan government through its embassies in the world countries, given the limitations of the Coronavirus will provide opportunities for Afghanistan mountaineering girls, President Ghani said.
