Kabul (BNA) President Ashraf Ghani leading a high-ranking delegation paid an official visit to Herat province to assess its general status and meet with various strata of that province, on Thursday.
Upon his arrival, President Ghani named the Herat International Airport after Khwaja Abdullah Ansari.
President Ghani said, “Today I am pleased and honored to have named the Herat International Airport after Khwaja Abdullah Ansari.
This is a blessing and I congratulate it to all Afghans and the Islamic World, President Ghani added.
