President Ghani Visits ANP Hospital, Instructs Officials to Provide Better Health Services

Kabul (BNA) The President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, went to the 200-bed National Police Hospital Monday evening and examined how the patients were taken care as well as the general situation of the hospital, a statement from the Presidential Press Office said Tuesday.

The President was accompanied by the Acting Minister of the Interior and the Director General of the Administrative of the President, with the relevant officials first providing information about the general condition of the hospital and how treating the patients.

President Ghani wished the patients complete recovery and instructed the officials of the 200-bed ANP hospital to use all facilities in providing standard services for the patients on serious care and treatment, the statement said.

The hospital officials and doctors assured the president that they would spare no effort to better care for patients and provide them with health care.
