Kabul (BNA) Hamid Karzai, President of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan received the credential letter of non-residence ambassador of Bangladesh Massoud Manan on Tuesday. Presidential press office stated BNA, in a ceremony also attended by foreign minister Zarar Ahmad Usmani in Arg, the president and Bangladeshi ambassador exchanged views on bilateral relations between the two nations.
The Bangladesh ambassador besides conveying the good wishes of Bangladesh Prime Minister to president stated he would do his best for the enhancing bilateral relations during his mission in Afghanistan. In his remarks, the president wished success for ambassador Manan, saying Afghanistan wants Bangladesh to provide scholarship for Afghan students in Bangladesh and the government of Afghanistan would bear the expenses.
