Kabul (BNA) The renovation of the Mir Hazar Kandahar mosque building was completed and opened to worshipers.
According to BNA, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land was responsible for renovating the building of the Grand Mosque, which is located in the second district of Kandahar and has a capacity of 500 worshipers.
This historic building is one of the most famous buildings in the world and was one of the most advanced buildings of its time and still has 18 rooms for teaching students.
Specialists of historical monuments of the Ministry of Urban Development and Lands have done the restoration work of this mosque by observing all the necessary principles and criteria, and its work has been completed in two years.
