Heart (BNA) Construction of a public road began in Herat yesterday.
This 11-kilometer-long, eight-meter-wide road connects Guzara district to Herat Highway.
Ministry of Public Works says in a newsletter that the road will be built from the government’s budget.
The road is scheduled to open to traffic within the next six months.
It is expected that with the opening of this road, facilities will be provided for transportation of agricultural products to the markets and patients to the hospitals.
