Sar-e-Pul Recent Clashes Leaves 28 Taliban Militants Dead

Sar-e-Pul City (BNA) At least 28 Taliban militants were killed and a number of them were wounded following recent clashes with Afghan security forces in northern Sar-e-Pul province.
A senior commander of Afghan National Army in the province said BNA, the clashes took place, while a group of Taliban rebels wanted to attack on Afghan security forces convey and checkpoints in various parts of Kohistanat district and Sar-e-Pul city.
According to another report, Taliban plan for organizing a series of terrorist activities have been thwarted by security forces in Sare-e-Pul province.
The militants with planting road side mines wanted to carry out bloodiest incident on innocent civilians, which fortunately their plans un-succeeded.
