School Building Opened in Bamyan

Kabul (BNA) The construction of a school building in Bamyan was completed and put into operation.

According to a local correspondent of BNA, building of the school of Professor Abdul Ali Mazari was built at a cost of more than three hundred and fifty thousand US dollars with the financial support of the UNHCR in the village of Pitab Laghman in central Bamyan.

The school has fourteen classrooms, a computer classroom, a laboratory, four offices, desks and chairs, children’s’ play equipment, drinking water and other necessities.

During the inauguration of the school building, the Governor of Bamyan, Acting Ministerial and Minister for Refugees and Repatriations, UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Head of the UN Office for Refugees, heads of government departments and a number of elders and residents was present.
