Kabul (BNA) The President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, and the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, held a senior security meeting after arriving in Mazar-e-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province, and meeting with jihadist and political figures.
First, the security and defense officials of the northern zone shared their readiness report and plans for managing the situation, improving the security situation to president and said that they fully support the popular uprisings within the government and they do jointly in the northern zone, clearing operations.
After hearing their reports and plans, the president gave the necessary instructions to the relevant officials in order to control the situation in the northern zone.
The President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, arrived in Mazar-e-Sharif this morning to review the security situation in the north of the country.
