Ghazni (BNA) forty-eight armed Taliban insurgents were killed in Ghazni province.
The head of the 203 Thunder Corps press office told BNA that the Taliban were killed in an operation by the defense and security forces launched with the support of the air force in Khani Qala, Alamwal and Sini camp areas of Andar District, Ghazni.
Two local Taliban commanders were among those killed.
The source added that 13 other Taliban militants were wounded in the operation, and a hideout and a large quantity of their weapons and ammunition were destroyed.\
