Trenkot (BNA) Sixteen Taliban insurgents killed and six others wounded in the latest airstrikes in Arozgan.
The Taliban were targeted in Gizab and Dehraud districts last night until this morning when they tried to attack military bases.
Sixteen Taliban insurgents, including two local commanders, were killed and six others wounded in airstrikes, the Atal Corps’ media office told BNA.
The Taliban were targeted before they could reach military bases, he said.
The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
