Qalat (BNA) In the latest clashes in Zabul, 16 Taliban insurgents were killed and six others were wounded.
The clashes took place last night until this morning in Shah Joi, Arghandab districts and on the public highway of the province following the Taliban attack on security checkpoints.
Senior military official in the south told BNA, that 16 militants had been killed and six others wounded in the clashes.
At the end of the clashes, several Taliban weapons fell into the hands of the security forces.
