Khost (BNA) A special PCR examination center was opened in Public Health Department of Khost.
This is the first center to be opened for the diagnosis of infectious diseases.
Previously, Khost Central Hospital had to send patients’ blood samples to Kabul for PCR examinations, or their patients had to go to the capital’s hospitals for these examinations.
Mawlavi Mohammad Nabi Omari, the governor of Khost, said at the opening ceremony of the PCR examination center at the Department of Public Health that this was a good step in providing basic health services to citizens.
He said that he is trying to continue to provide basic and quality services to citizens of Khost.
Khost PCR examination center has been built with the help of the World Health Organization.
