Farah (BNA) Security forces discovered a Taliban weapons and ammunition depot in Farah in a special operation.
Farah police spokesman told BNA that nineteen miles of weapons and large quantities of Taliban ammunition has been recovered from the depot.
Farah Governor’s spokesman added that several villages in central Farah were cleared from Taliban during the operation.
According to the source, the weapons and ammunition were handed over in the presence of Brigadier General Gholam Sakhi “Ghafouri”, Farah Police Chief, to Colonel Abdul Razzaq, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Western DIAG Zone.
