Taliqan (BNA) Taliban attack on security checkpoints in Versaj district Takhar, has been repulsed.
Takhar police spokesman told BNA that Taliban militants attacked security checkpoints in Sang-e-Atash village, Versaj district last night, killing ten Taliban militants.
The source added that five armed Taliban were wounded in the incident and five others were captured by security forces.
According to the source, Sayed Hakim Amini, the commander of the security command in Versaj district of Takhar, was also martyred in the clash.
