Kunduz (BNA) Commando forces arrested the Taliban finance chief for Kunduz along with seven other suspects last night.
Hadi Jamal, head of press office of 217 Pamir Corps, told BNA that Haji Seyed Rahman, the Taliban’s chief financial officer for Kunduz, was arrested in an operation by commando forces in Kata Khel village in central Kunduz.
He added that seven suspects were also arrested in the operation.
Two Taliban insurgents were wounded during the operation, eight vehicles were destroyed and ten Taliban landmines were found and defused he said.
