Qalat (BNA) A man allegedly infiltrating the Taliban into a police unit in Zabul shot and killed 13 of his Colleagues.
The assailant, with the help of armed Taliban, looted the weapons of the checkpoint where he was stationed.
The incident reportedly took place at a camp called Pul-e-Sangi in the outskirts of Qalat. The assailant, a Taliban infiltrator, shot his 13- Colleagues while guarding it, and with the help of Taliban took the weapons to the base.
Zabul security source in contact to BNA confirmed the incident.
Efforts have begun to identify and detain the attacker, he said.
Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
