Mazar-e-Sharif (BNA) Seven armed Taliban were killed in Balkh yesterday.
Mohammad Hanif Rezaei, spokesman for the 209th Shaheen Corps, told BNA that defense and security forces, backed by the air force, launched an operation in the Chahar Boldak district of Balkh, killing seven Taliban.
Rezaei added that nine other insurgents were wounded during the operation.
