Herat (BNA) Fifty-two insurgents were killed in Herat during yesterday’s clashes.
Spokesman for the 207th Zafar Corps told BNA that the Taliban were killed in operations by the defense and security forces, commandos and the popular mobilization with the support of the air force in the Guzara and Karkh districts of Herat.
Forty-seven other insurgents were wounded and some of their weapons destroyed during the operation, the source added.
