Kandahar (BNA) Kandahar in the south of the country last night witnessed sporadic clashes between security forces and armed Taliban.
Security forces say 14 militants were killed and eight others were wounded in the clashes.
These clashes took place in suburbs of Kandahar city and Arghandab and Dand districts.
A senior Atal Corps official in south told BNA that 14 militants had been killed and eight others wounded in the clashes.
The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
