Qalat (BNA) Fourteen Taliban insurgents were killed in the latest clashes in Zabul.
The Taliban were targeted last night and before noon today in Arghandab, Mizan and Shah Joi districts.
Zabul security official says the Taliban were carrying out terrorist activities that targeted by air and ground forces.
He contacted BNA to confirm that 14 Taliban members have been killed in the clashes.
The Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
According to another report, the security forces prevented a series of explosions in Zabul by detecting and neutralizing 21 roadside mines.
No one has been arrested in connection with the bombings.
